Guidance will be given in making a good choice of fabrics, suitable for this quilt.

Students will be taught how to take a single fabric and create hexagons that resemble a view through a kaleidoscope.

Accurate cutting and construction of the hexagons will also be taught.

You will also be taught how to create and design dramatic graphic elements to add interest to your quilt.

Principles of design that will enable you to create swirling designs or even a colour wash.
